I don’t usually voice my thoughts about TVD episodes and my Klaroline feels because I don’t like ship wars and all that stuff, but last episode was just too much bullshit for me to handle.
I mean…what was that???!! I don’t think I’ve ever seen TVD writers (yes Julie Plec…I mean you) come up with so much nonsense in a single episode as they did with TO’s spin-off. Julie, you exceeded yourself… congratulations on the worst plot ever. (was she drunk when she allowed this episode to be even filmed?) I mean, do they think we are stupid??? That we don’t use our brains!? That we accept whatever they give us just because the actors look damn good?! TO’s spin-off had so much potential! Yes, it could have been an obstacle for Klaroline and most of us were dreading it. But it could also have been an opportunity for Klaus and Caroline to grow individually until they finally get together. But this??!?
Let me just point the core of all this bullshit. Just look to what they are doing to Hayley’s character. Hayley and the baby can get in the way of Klaroline or not…but that’s not even what makes me so angry. I don’t even care about if they’re getting in the way or not. It’s what they are making of the character!! Something that they have done several times before….completely spoil and destroy good characters or characters that could have been great in the show (still not over what they did to Kol…). Instead, they make us hate them! Because they are bad characters? NO!! Because they make no sense at all. And using a baby to bring a family together?!?! That’s insanity!! The Originals are completely dysfunctional without a child (and we love them for that)…how is Renesme 2.0 going to make them learn to trust each other and be a family??! I’m sorry if this hurts some shipper’s feelings, but it is utter stupidity. And Hayley! She came to existence in the show for what? To be a fueled with liquor night stand and to have a miracle baby?? She has no logical purpose in the show!! It is degrading for the character…to be used like this. If I were Phoebe Tonkin I would be slapping Julie Plec in the face for what she’s doing to her character. She could have been this amazing independent sassy werewolf girl, WITH A LOGICAL PURPOSE. Instead she’s just there to please the whims of Julie Plague and be part of the stupidest story line ever.
I will abstain from comments regarding Kalijah’s break-up, because… this is just stupid. I will not comment on Klaus too, because…I don’t even know what to say. One of the greatest villains of all time…the original hybrid (!!) forced to follow the witches rules because one of nature’s loopholes. (I don’t know if I should laugh or cry…) I think the only person with some sense in this episode was Rebekah…and Katherine.
I don’t know what will happen to Klaroline. I am completely disappointed with the show. I am sad because I was hoping that the spin-off would be a good opportunity to Joseph and later on to Klaroline shippers…but with this plot?? Forget it… I’ll forever ship my perfect and epic ship, not matter what that insane person (Julie Plec!) does with the show. It came to the point where fanfic writers are a thousand more talented and write more logical story lines than those who are actually being payed to write the show. I choose the fanfic writers from now on. I won’t lose more time with Plec’s writing and directing or whatever it is she does.
Also, I would like to say that it is pointless to hate on Hayley and the fetus. Death threats are just beneath all of us Klaroliners. It’s not her fault. She was just as dumb-faced as the rest of us when she found out about the plot masterpiece Julie had ready for us. (actually…I think the only one excited about it was Elijah…) If you want to get mad…get mad at the writers. This is their doing. But be classy about it. A bunch of threats will take us nowhere.
If Klaroline is going to happen, it won’t be Hayley and the pregnancy that will stop it. It will be the writers and their madness.
