#and yet again the lighting people deserve all the awards #because this time it’s not just caroline’s face that is partly in the dark #but klaus’ face too #only in his case it has the opposite meaning #because half of his face is actually LIT UP #and you know what i just fucking love about this moment #it’s the fact that this right here is one of their purest and most heartfelt moments yet #and that little smile klaus actually makes is just so honest #and combined with the lighting magic #it proves that this indeed is a turning point in their whole relationship #what with klaus’ face slowly coming out of the darkness and all #and caroline who is strong beautiful and full of light #actually SHARING that light with him #so i will just be here sobbing at the perfection of these two (and the lighting) #please go on without me
